Check if your iPhone is not in silent mode. Push the Ring/Silent switch upwards to turn off silent mode. You'll know that the silent mode is not on when you don't see the small red dot at the Ring/Silent switch which is located just above the volume buttons.

If you want to change the ringtone of your cell phone,

Select Options > Set as Ringtone
