I have a k7t turbo2 w/ an AMD Duron 1gb, 512 ram, a 40gb & 1.5gb drive. Problem has been it was powercycling itself and then this AM went dormant--on reboot it gets to verify DMI pool data and locks with Y*Y* at the cursor line. I can get it to try and boot from CD but it is saying that memory allocation errors exist. Any ideas? I'm thinking hard drive (hoping....)
It sounds like the ram is acting up. easiest solution is to remove the ram make sure no dust and crap has built up on the ram and the ram sockets.
