White turns to pink on acer laptop

My screen goes pink, but just the white part. all other colors seem fine? Acer 5610 On Sharp LL-T19D1, monitor screen white turns light pink for varying periods of time
my problem is the laptop screen with the white zones turning to pink and blinking, occasionally! i connect a CRT monitor to the laptop and the image seems to be ok, so i think the problem is something in the LCD, the inverter or else!

I have the smae issue with my Acer 5630. Not tried anither monitor yet but have noticed the pink hue as a failrly constant event.

Another problem with this poor machine...

Every time I turn on my laptop the screen is white as soon as the screen turns on. I'm scared I'll loose everything I have on my computer

The problem is CCFL light bulb in the screen. It is starting to die :( Can be replaced but that is not an easy task (easier is to replace screen as new bulb comes with it)

My acer Model X221WSD monitor screen is pink. I've tried

Pinkish back ground can be the sign of the lamps are going bad, but usually it will also cause the screen to go into shutdown mode also. Try New VGA cable or move the VGA connectors? Does the same on other PC?
Please post back so we can guide you further toi narrow down the problem.

The screen on my Acer Extenda 5610 is blank

I had the same problem with a vaio, it was the memory card.
I removed one (bad) card and it worked fine.

Acer aspire one, the color is flashing and changing on the screen

A dull pink color usually means the backlight is going out. You can test this theory by plugging your laptop into an external monitor. If the picture is fine, you know you have a bad LCD on your hands.

They are medium difficulty to replace, and they're widely available on eBay for $100-$200 (USD).

Acer 5634 laptop screen occasionally turns pink!

You have broken wire that connect screen to the motherboard, when moving screen it connect somtime and sometimes disconnect. It about 18pin wire but only one is broken.
