Question about Panasonic Toughbook 27 Notebook
There are 3 ways to connect to the internet. Using a modem with a phone line, an ethernet cable that is hooked up to a high speed internet connection or using wireless. If the laptop does not have a modem, it may have wireless or an ethernet port. Ethernet is slightly larger than a phone jack. If there is wireless there should be a button to turn it on and off somewhere along the top of the laptop where the keyboard is. You could also put get type of those connections on a PCMCIA card which fits into the credit card like slots on the side.

What does the connector look like on the PCMCIA card? Sometimes it's a little pop up thing that holds a phone cord for dial up. If it's a flat type connector, it probably takes an ethernet cable at the other end. perhaps you could provide info on the PCMCIA card and we can figure out what type of connection it wants.

The laptop, PANASONIC TOUHGBOOK CF-27 series has the PCMIA card but it is not letting me connect to the internet. The card has a plug that allows something to be plugged into it, however I did not receive a cable that size. Do I need to purchase another cable in order for the card to work?
