This can be from a couple things that caused this. Most the time and 99% of the time that causes this is the cd driver is dirty, which some times it just spits it out after error message comes on. AND in your case, it is staying in there spinning and reading error, and won't eject. One way that is possible to have this kick out is, to unhook battery, wait 5 minutes, and re- hook battery up, and sometimes it will trigger it to eject. If not, you do not want to start forcing something in there, it could cause more damage. You would then, i suggest , take it to car stereo shop as they have all kinds of methods to check it out and eject cd and figure out the fix method. Which could be as simple as a good cleaning, or cd itself was bad, or mechanism is screwed up.

We have tried several of the solutions offered. (i.e. holding eject button down several seconds and then pressing again; inserting another CD into slot 1.5 " and using eject button at same time; pulling the fuse on the radio and waiting 10 minutes w/o using key in ignition and then reinstalling fuse. NONE of these worked. There's a certain amount of satisfaction to "fixing" a problem on one's own, BUT nothing we read about and tried worked. Since we bought the 2005 RAM just last week, we're going to take the problem back to the Dealer to fix. THANKS.
I am waiting for a reply from the Authorised Blaupunkt Service Agent for a solution to this problem & shall let you know when it is solved. As per my telcon with him it is an alignment problem of the Cartridge carrier, but he will have to look at the Unit later, when he is free.
Hi i have just been able to sort this problem, if your system says "NO CD" after it is inserted then the CD is not sitting right inside, solution for this is, join the philips club (free) and update the firmware and update the Gracenote software 1, insert the cd so it is in then turn it off and unplug then take another cd insert it in slowly to push the other one down a bit until it stops (may only move a couple of millimetres, you are only using the cd as it fits the slot so don’t try and insert it!!) plug the centre back in and turn the centre on, it will boot back up and eject the cd that’s still in, wait until it is fully booted and insert the cd again, that should work OR 2, insert the cd so it is in then turn it off and unplug then you can open the product and physically push the cd down (be careful when you take the lid off as the cd will not be fully slotted down and there are a couple of cables that can pop out but they are easy to put back and obvious) Put the lid back on and plug the centre back in and turn the centre on, it will boot back up and eject the cd that’s still in, wait until it is fully booted and insert the cd again, that should work any probs just mail back and ill help as much as i can
sounds like the c.d. has a paper label on it, yes? my stereo won't eject c.d.'s with paper labels,....reach in there with a pair of thin needle nose plyers and yank it out,.....good luck, cracklin joe,......
