After some years of use, my razor started flashing a replace heads light. I have replaced the heads and everything works fine, but I can't find the manual and don't know how to reset the flashing light. Is it detecting something and it's broken or is it based on time and there's some way to reset it?
I have been able to reset the replace head light on my 8894xl shaver by do the following:
Step 1 - Fully charge and clean shaver
Step 2 - Turn on shaver holding down on button until shaver display recycles from 0 to xxx minutes.
Step 3 - Turn shaver off
Step 4 - Turn on shaver again and hold down button until shaver beeps ONCE. (Light will go off)
I am having the same question. After seeing this post, I decided to find my (lost) manual. It says: (the replacement head indicator) "will remain visible for 2 weeks to remind you that with new shaving heads you will guarantee yourself optimal shaving performance. After 1 week the beeps are audible for 5 seconds. After 2 weeks the beeps are audible for 10 seconds." My beeps finally stopped, but the "replace" message in the LCD continues. Oh well.

When the battery is almost empty (when there are only 5 or fewer shaving minutes left), the battery symbol lights up red.
Make sure that the battery does not have a memory effect. What I suggest is taking the shaving head unit off and running the shaver till empty, then recharging. Check if the red light is still flashing.
There's also a head indicator at the bottom of some shavers.
To remind you to replace the shaving unit, the shaving unit symbol flashes (all types) and you hear a beep when you switch off the shaver (RQ1090 only). This happens at the end of 7 successive shaves to remind you to replace the shaving unit.
Without knowing what model you have it's difficult to diagnose further.
this is the solution I recieved from tech support from norelco. Here is the conversation: I do not know if that makes any sense or not but will wait and see how it goes.
andy soni: the 3 blades icon keep coming on Charlie : Sorry for the delay in my response, as I was facing some technical difficulty. andy soni: I replaced the blades Charlie : I would like to inform you that though even you have replaced the new heads the indicator stay remain till 2 weeks. Charlie : The replacement head indicator will remain visible for 2 weeks to remind you that with new shaving heads you will guarantee yourself optimal shaving performance. Charlie : After 1 week the beeps are audible for 5 seconds. After 2 weeks the beeps are audible for 10 seconds. After 2 weeks it automatically disappears. andy soni: the head does not flash or anything is that normal it just stays lit Charlie : Yes, Andy. And it will disappear after 2 to 3 recharge cycles.
