Rear projection I have a big screen Samsung (European Model.My tv had a blue tint. Repairman replaced some parts and two days later it was back. He came back, after he messed around the tv started clicking when turned on.

Bad High voltage power supply. Clicking is the relay kicking to the supply which is no longer functional.

Red tint on screen

Good Day,

Try resetting the TV by unplugging from wall outlet for 3 to5 minutes then plug back in. If no fixya take front grill off and panel and adjust the screen controls, turn color off adjust for Black & White Picture. Good Luck, big IRISH.

Samsung HC-P4752W 47 in. Rear Projection bigscreen TV

You dont have to remove the aluminum heat sink. The ICs are attached with screws and then just unsolder the ICs from the circuit board and then replace the new ics into the pin hole locations after applying heat sink compound onto the back then screww the new ICs to the heat sinks then solder the pins. Very easy repair.

Blue Tint

Most likely cause would be a loose solder connection that expands as the set warms up until it no longer makes a connection. You may get the blue to come and go by hitting the side of the cabinet after the set is warmed up awhile. (don't hurt your hand doing this, and don't keep doing it to "fix" the set. The connection will have to be located and repaired). Otherwise, there could be a component going bad, including the blue picture tube.
