Phenom ii x4 965
Yes it will because I have the se edition of it. However I cannot recommend this combination because if this is like the se version it only supports a max of 4 gigs of ram. Shockingly 4 gigs of ram is still enough to play almost all titles that I know of. With that said I think serious pc gamers want at least 8 gigs. I'd recommend 16 gigs now a days.
SOURCE: M2N68-AM PLUS does not support cpu AMD Phenom 9750
No it does not. although it says it supports sockets AM2, AM2+, and AM3 and the Phenom 9750 is an AM2+, the Phenom 9750 has a wattage requirement of 125 watts. This motherboard ONLY supports CPU's up to 95watts! You would either need to get another motherboard or another CPU (or both and make a second computer).
Side note: also keep in mind that if using this motherboard with an AM2+ CPU, it will not be able to handle 1066MHZ memory (or higher) in dual channel mode, in order to get this speed you will either have to take out the second dimm or run both dimms at 800MHZ.
Hope this helps!!
(and if it does, please rate or leave comment. It will be much appreciated!!)
SOURCE: I have the m2n68-am plus
Yes they do. If you go get the newest bios update it supports new CPU's. Just follow this link:
