Was watching the tv, but it suddenly went off. no red or green light. the fuse is not blown, as everything else works. it is onnly 4weeks old, so i doubt there is an internal problem

Same problem. Worked fine for twelve months and 9 days then our main circuit breaker tripped and when re-set the TV did not work. No lights red or otherwise. Checked fuses in plug all Ok.

Dry joints ???

Fuse blowing on these is due to a transistor going open circuit, blows/trips main fuse in plug/fuseboard and pcb psu component.

Part number HA160T1A1 is no longer avaliable to replace the board after only 14 months service the lesson is you get what you pay for, go for more reputable manufactuer :(

Bad company with cheap and nasty products.

This cost me 90 quid to get fixed. I said to the guy "just dry joints etc. then" to which he replied "yes"

Sounds like the power surge may have blown the fuse in the TV. You can replace the fuse and see if that works. If not, more damage to the power supply unit may have occurred.

Hi, we have a goodmans GTVL27W23HD that was left on standby for 6 days, now will not show the digi-box channel, just a blue screen, sound only on scart 1 any suggestions anyone? something re-setting...

Try to unplug everything and plug it back in at the correct order(without power). Then plug the power and into the items in the correct order and let them power on for about 5 minutes. With the blue screen that may take about 15-20 minutes.

Fuse keeps blowing on power board. It is the 3.15 amp fuse on the goodmans xpro tv

Most likely you have a short on the front side of your power supply. You will either need to have it repaired or replaced!

Goodmans HDMI. After power cut (which it is used

I just left the TV off and it must have reset itself. It did it twice. First time it was OK after half an hour. Second time it was nearer an hour.

Tv did not turn on

Look at the power supply to see if anyhting burnt, fuse, bad capacitors. I doubt that the power cord is bad, the same size fuse should be used as the original one.

Goodmans crt tv dead

there is another supply missing from your power supply, chec your components on that power supply a ht of 90volts is missing,
check all active components like transistors, diodes and resistors with very small values,
if you go through you are going to win that problem, ok.

No sound

Have you checked that the TV isnt Muted/ Volume turned to 0 ? i would check in the menus if that is the case.

If this is not what is happening i suggest you surf over to the Goodmans website at to see if there is any troubleshooting/FAQs on there. if not, i would call Goodmans customer Support, their number is located on the said website !

Hope This Helps !?
