Re: deskjet 930c printer
Good for you for being on the internet and posting the question! The yellow light usually means, paper, ink or a jam. If it's got paper and ink, check for jams and even power cycle it and see if that helps. And try printing, it may just be reporting low ink. Good luck!

Hi, if you inserted the paper in your printer and you still having the error so this is not a paper error,
check is your cartridge carriage moving or not when you turn on the printer, if the cartridge carriage not moving so this is might be the error of cartridges or cartridge carriage is not working, try to remove your printer cartridge and clean it and if the error keep coming you need to take your printer to any local repair center. because its not a user service part.
Hi, the HP printers tell you what's wrong by using the lights on the front. Depending on which lights are on/flashing/off will give a different fix. If you can let me know the sequence of lights (i.e. resume light blinking plus cartridge light on etc).
The printer primes and cleans the cartridges when the cartridges go to the right side of carriage. Sounds like a cartridge has either leaked or you have used it enough the the ink pool is full, or you have layed the printer on its side or back. From experence, if ink is leaking out of the printer, your probley better off getting anithe printer. I have tried to take the covers off and clean inside print, and it is a messy job.
Your printer might be having hardware problems. You can try removing and reinserting the printer cable. It might be loose due to the constant movement it does during printing. Also, inspect your cartridge. It is possible you have not removed the plastic covering the nozzle.
I'm only guessing here but try cleaning the contact points of the cartridge using tissue but not touching the nozzles. Then clean also the contact points on the printer. If that doesn't work then I would bring it to HP for a check up. Hope this helps.

Try unplugging the printer from the computer, then turn off the printer with the Power button, next unplug the power cord from the printer for 5 minutes or longer, now plug the power cable back in and turn on printer without connecting to the computer. If the lights have stopped flashing, reconnect to the computer (if using USB) or power off first if using a parallel cable.
Add comment if still having trouble. Hope this helps.
