I have an Epson C120 that I have been using for sublimantation. I've had it for several years and not until recently have I had a major problem with one of the colors not printing. I've tried

I've made sure that the ink is in the well in the unit and also in the tube that runs from the CSIS unit to the printer. I've worked on it all day long and I still am only able to print 3 colors. I'm very frustrated and wasting a lot of ink by constantly doing head cleaning too

The sponge under the chasse is full of ink and when I do print the bottom of the page has black spots on it. The magenta has ink in both wells and I have also put the outside unit on top of a box to give it more height for the tubes to flow through. Still not printing magenta. I really need suggestions as to what I need to do. PLEASE someone HELP me!

SOURCE: Epson Stylus Photo R800 Print Head Nozzles ??

Don't use nozzles clean function, besides ink consuming it can cause damages that cannot be fixed: black lines on the back side of the page that will be permanent. Instead put two photo paper together (2x260 gr) and push the two papers together into the printer while printing a motive including many colors. Do so a couple of times and the clogg usually disappears. Good luck! jonk

SOURCE: Not printing magenta ink and tried cleaning heads already

Hi, one or two head cleans won't clear a clogged nozzle. Try doing 4 or 5 head cleans, wait about 10 hours for the ink to soften and do another 3 or 4 cleans with a nozzle check after each. You should see a gradual improvement in the nozzle checks. If there is no improvement then you need a head cleaning solution such as this one:
http://www.powerklin.co.uk/?gclid=CNGDypir-JgCFQ4yQgodZlC4lw

Others are available just try googling "inkjet head cleaning".
Note that head cleaning uses between 5 and ten percent of your ink cart's, if any are low on ink have some new ones ready. Hope this helps.
Please take a moment to rate this solution, thanks.

SOURCE: Epson R220 won't print

Nothing at all? Problem with micropiezo (micro pump) at head. But you said, replaced print head. So it might just lost electricity to head (problem with board).

My epson stylus cx6000 has stopped printing black. I've cleaned the print head, changed the cartridge and it still won't print black. What else can I do?

Be sure you are using genuine epson ink. Epson printers are "smart" and will not allow generic ink to work properly. Even after you replace a generic with a genuine it may take several print outs and alignments to get it to print again.
