Question about Canon LaserClass 2060 Fax
I'm not sure if this will help because I haven't seen a 2060 control panel but most Canon fax machines use the same process. Press either "menu" or "data registration" button. (Again -I'm not sure of 2060 control panel.) Display should read "user settings" Press the "down arrow" (looks like an upside down triangle) until the display reads "tel settings" Press "set" Display reads Speed Dials Press "set" Display should give the # of the speed dial (ie. Speed Dial 01) Press "set" Display reads "tel number" Press "set" input # you want to send faxes to Press "set" Display reads "Name" Press "set" use letters on keypad to input receivers name (ie. For letter "C" press #2 three times, you may have to use the arrow keys to move the cursor for names such as BC Corp) Once name is input - you guessed it- Press "set" you will now be presented with various other send options which most people/businesses never use. You can hit stop to return to normal mode. After inputting speed dial #'s & names, you can print a list of what you have input by getting back to the "Tel registration" screen & pressing the report button. I can be reached @ [email protected] if you need more assistance. Good Luck!!

Have you programmed the 'rapid' (one touch) buttons or the speed dial numbers? (print a report of stored numbers to be sure)
Is machine set to fax mode?
