Hi, I have a 28'' Panasonic 28PB50 Quintrix TV. (Not sure what the Quintrix means)
I turn it on with the remote and it ''clicks'' into life - but doesn't turn the speakers on.
Bought the TV second hand.. ooo.. 3 months ago and all was fine until last week. But had nothing done to the tele or moved it or anything.
If I sit and turn the tell on/off/on/off/on/off/on the sound works eventually, but it sometimes takes a while.
Have tried unplug for 10 mins.
I assume a loose wire, but no idea how to fix :o(
It had surround speakers which I unplugged after this problem started because I thought they may be the reason, but obviously not.
Any help/ideas on how to fix it welcome! Please!
Thanks
Have u check the menu??? where u can move the audio optons, panasonic has 3 options:
speakers on
speaker off variable pre out (u can connect and amplifier and when u up the volume in ur tv then u turn up the volume in the amplifier)
speaker off continues out (u turn on and down the volumen directly on the amplifier)
try to connect an amplifier to the tv an see if u have sound.
i u dont have sound neither the amplifier the audio in the tv must be damaged.
good luck
If you do fail to do, please don't blame me.

I don't have an amplifier to try it with. But I've scoured the menus to no avail, it's nothing in the setup. :(
