Neoware Red light power

I have a lot of Thin Client neoware and when i plug it a red light appears and dont come green like a normal boot it stay red and the neoware dont boot. it seems to be a power supply issue but there is anything to do with this ^

Mine has the red light and also clicks. This is for both the Capio 600 and the Capio 620.

we have about 10 NEOWARE with the same issue as that the power supplys fry out. did I see that HP fixes them?

Power Supply is Shot...I've been working on literally 30 of them for my company....I'm not happy. If you know of any company who will be willing to sell them. Please tell me. HP wants $50 to Fix Just the Power Supply Board

Reset Neoware 608 CE password.

Neoware was acquired by HP in 2007 and they seem to have destroyed all Neoware references. That product was end of service in January 09. God, win ce 5. Hope its not all chinese make. I dont know about your neoware, but just google up how to install app on windows mobile or win ce5. Instructions are not dificult.

Yes, you can disable this message via the registry editor.

Click start, then Run. In the boxy type regedit. Press enter. (In Vista, click start, then in the search box, type regedit)

Navigate to the folder HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\
Explorer

Click on NoLowDiskSpaceChecks and change the value from 0 to 1. If the entry doesn't exist, click on new DWORD value, type in NoLowDiskSpaceChecks and enter 1.

Navigate to the folder HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\
Explorer and do the same thing there.

Exit out of the registry. Your computer may need to be rebooted in order for the changes to take effect.

OK first off I don't know anything about this device, But I can tell you most OS level passwords I have dealt with are stored in the OS by way of a battery on the main board. If you open the unit and remove the battery and wait about 15 minutes, then reinstall the battery and close everything back up. Then turn it on and see what you get.
Has worked for me in the past On laptops.
You may have to try and leave the battery out overnight and then try it.
