Need timer and microswitch for toastmaster model TP424 toaster sometimes heats and sometimes not.

The best thing you can do is call the manufacturer. It sounds as if it has a default.

I found the parts manual for this model (and a few others) at this URL.
Its a free download and I scanned it for viruses and it came up clean before I downloaded it.

By the way, Toastmaster is owned by Middleby Corp.

Mine just broke too - it won't heat - everything else works - lights, timer ect. but no heat can't cook
without it - love my oven - any solutions ( I guess it's the heating element ) Hope I can get a new one.

You can repair the other side heating element in a electrical shop or by ur self if u have the skills. Mostly the element breaks of due to food hitting at it when ejected or inserted.

remove bottom plate.....remove 10 screws holding the bottom brown plastic base...loosen screw under push down lever....romove light, dark knob small center hex screw....cover will now lift off....gently....watch #20 toast "wires"

thermostat seems to have given way, needs replacement

If you definitely have power at the elements, then if they are not heating they must be damaged - just check there is no cutout or safety device after the point you are testing for power.
