Kenmore dryer, 60 series

Just a used dryer I bought. I need to know if it needs an axhaust hose. Nothing came and am used to all the dryer having an exhaust and was just wondering if this particular model did not need one? thanks so much for your help

    I have a kenmore 60 gas dryer. I lose power to the igniter when the dryer is turned on.

I would not consider myself an expert on dryers, however, all dryers, that I know of, must be vented. If you check the back of your dryer, you will find a hole either at the very bottom of the back panel or the top of the back panel. Remember that the dryer should be vented to the outdoors. Should not be an expensive operation.

My Kenmore 60 series gas dryer will not heat up. I checked the lint trap and it is clean. How do I open the front panel to check the pilot light?
Some dryers have a small inspection hole covered by a small platic cap.
Remove cap and look inside unit for pilot. Newer dryers have an igniter that glows when the dryer is turned on. It ignites the gas then goes out.
