The colors are out of alignment causing the screen to appear 3D.

This is an color projector alignment issue. Many projection TVs have a menu item in the video or picture setup that will produce a grid overlay on a black screen of Red, Green and Blue. You use the <, >, up & down buttons on the remote or the TV to move each color (one at a time) directly on top of each other and maintain straight up and down / left and right lines. Once you do this, the picture will be in focus and there will be no more colored "3D-like" ghosting. If you are unable to move the colors far enough, there may be an issue with certain integrated circuits inside the TV that can be challenging to remove and replace. More make and model number for your TV would be required however.

Your tv has a problem with the convergence, adjust it using the original remote go to the setting's menu then go to the convergence section. Adjust the convergence color red and blue the green color is your guide you cannot move this green color, then you should move the red and the blue in all direction left to right, up and down. Here is a quick test....

Using your original remote go-to the settings menu then goto the convergence section.

Try to adjust the red and then the blue convergence.

You should be able to move RED and BLUE in all directions - up, down, left, and right. And you should be able to get the grid straight.

If you can't move them in all directions or cant move them far enough your convergence chips are bad and should be replaced. This is a common problem.

Note: If you TV has as flash focus or magic focus button only try pressing the button. If it fails to fix the convergence your need to fix it. See below for a fix

When there is a convergence issue,the first step is change both
IC's for reliability. Then check for open fuses devices,usually
pico fuses.Then re-check convergence alignment.......T.
