Sony Network Walkman NW-A3000 MP3 Player Logo

Question about Sony Network Walkman NW-A3000 MP3 Player

1 Answer

Connect player does not recognise my player

Right, where do I start, I bought the player, installed connect and the first time it was seen on connect player as its make (nw a3000) all was fine. then I stupidly changed the name of it to (dave's mp3 player) I deleted a lot of songs from the player, the program went a bit funny and then (here is the main thing I think I done wrong) I removed the daves mp3 player from the top left hand box and now the program will not see it again. the computer now sees it as removable disc H and I need to link the player to connect again. tried device manager, network settings but just cant seem to find where to link the player with connect. any help would be much appreciated. I am usually spot on with computers but this one has me stumped.

First, uninstall the SONY software. Next, power down. Then restart and run "Disk Cleanup", "Error check" and "defrag". Next power down. Then restart and install Sony-ware. Then power down. Then restart and connect SONY. Any change? If not, then run "System restore" and select a restore point prior to Sony-ware.

My laptop is not recognising my Creative Zen touch MP3

Try this, i used this for my sansa, but the problem you are having is very similar.

Start - (right click)my computer - manage - device manager

It should be under "Other Devices" Right click - Update driver - Yes this time only - Install software automatically

Away you go, should recognize it as a portable device and install the drivers for it correctly.

Computer won't reconize my sandisk mp3 player

Hi, just had the same problem after restoring my system.

You must disconnect and update your Windows Media Player to Number 11. My reinstall left me at WMP 9 and it wouldn't recognise my Clip. Go to the Windows website, follow the download instructions, and you should be fine. When you plug in the Sansa Clip or MP3, it should recognise it right away. Hope this helps!

Actually a HDD6320

The HDD6320 is not compatible with Windows Media Player 11.
You will need to uninstall Media Player 11, to roll back to version 10.

Also, it is not compatible with Windows Vista.

If you haven't already, install the Philips Device Manager from the product CD.

Connect the HDD6320 to the mains and PC.

Select the repair/restore option and follow the on-screen prompts.

If the HDD6320 is still not recognised, let me know if the player shows the connection icon on-screen, and I'll try to help further.

Creative Zen Vision M - unable to connect to ANY PC or Xbox

How to make Creative vision m, find the computer.

Connect your creative with U. S. B. cable.
Go to my computer, click on right button on mouse go to properties, click on hardware tab, click on device manager button , scrawled to creative logo press on right button on mouse and press on update drives. This worked for me on both of my computers now I can charge my creative and transfer of the files to it with no problems.

Good luck.
