I have just purchased a new Asus barebone and a 3ooo+ AMD 64 sempron after fitting it all together I plugged her in to find that although there is lights coming on there is no display or signs of the computer entering bios! I have built a lot of computers now and have no idea how to fix this problem so I would appreciate anything you can tell me!
The only thing that some people over look is that normally the semperon chip has it's own power supply from the psu to the motherboard and not like the older athlon where they were powered by the zif socket, apologies if this is not the case, as you are obviously converse with pc's. The only other problem could be that the boards bios chip is faulty, iv'e had this if ive overstressed the boards fitting hardware, although this may not be in your case as most of it is already fitted, or the board is shorting on the case somewhere.

I thought of the Bios reset jumper but was unable to find it all the jumpers are the same size and color; no distinguishing marks at all. I do think there is a short on the mother board though as the processor, ram etc... are all working on other boards but nothing works on the asus motherboard.
Worked last night. Shutdown and powered off. This morning will not boot. Case fan and CPU fan are running, but no video, beep codes or boot screen.
