Sorry about the subject line containing a model but I couldn't find my model in your list.
The problem is that when you turn on the Television the power light goes green for about 2 seconds then turns red and does nothing at all. Just so you know we lost the remote for this some time ago.

Re: Sharp SX-59E9 Television, wont start.
The fact that the TV attempts to power by the green light accordingly, and then goes red, indicates that the x-ray protection circuit is shutting it down to prevent any further or more severe damage.
You likely have a problem in the B+ (high voltage) line.. Could be anywhere along across one of several circuits but I'd first suspect the HOT (horizontal output transistor), HV regulator and then maybe vertical. There are several tests that need to be preformed and with the right equipment takes about an howr to complete. This is not something you can do yourself - I would assume you don't have the DMM, ESR and 20mHz scope for starters. But a good reputable shop can have this one back on it's feet in an hour and I would guess for under a hundred dollars...
If you're not sure where to find a good reputable shop I would suggest going to NESDA's site and researching from there...

The Sony RMT-D187A cannot be programmed for a Dynex television. The brands supported according to Sony are: GoldStar, Hitachi, LG Mitsubushi / MGA, NEC, Panasonic, Philips, Pioneer, RCA, Samsung, Sharp, Sony, and Toshiba. Sorry, but it wont work on your TV.
Information found here: http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/model-remote.pl?mdl=RMTD187A
The AR-C26TxU toner cartridges are only made for the AR-C260, AR-BC260, and AR-BC320. The cartridges are unique for these models in that they are the only ones in Sharp's entire color cartridge line that contain both toner and developer. I'm afraid you're going to be stuck with OEM in this instance, sorry.
My guide quit working also on my RCA 61" big screen and I called the cable company and he said something about the encryption data had changed and I needed to call RCA to find out what to do and the whole time trying to sell me a converter box. It is the cable company's fault or the guide wouldn't have put that message up to start with. We all need to call the FCC!!!
