Question about Toshiba gigabeat S MP3 Player
I took a big holiday and on it lots of photos. When I got home I synched my Gigabeat to my PC and lost the damn lot. Main Issue: I have some software to help mme recover deleted items but first I need to have my Gigabeat listed as a HDD letter so I can search it. Currently it only shows up as "Gigabeat S" but with no home drive letter assigned. I have tried installing Gigabeat Home but this does not recognize my Gigabeat S. Anyone with other ideas out there? Cheers, JayMac
Hey JayMac, Your s30 is not possible to map it to a drive letter. The reason ? cause your s30 and the other brothers of your mp3 are MTP class mp3's. Meaning that they are Media Transfer Protocol mp3's, so you can only transfer media files. If your mp3 player would be a USB Mass Storage Device, like alot of other mp3's, well you would've been able to recover you're files. But until now, the answer is no you can't recover the files just becauses of that stupid invention of Microsoft, the MTP.
