Question about Jensen 8.5'' Overhead DVD Player Package (MVB85) Car Video Player
I have a jensen mvb85a overhead dvd player and the screen is broken, well the 4 screws that hold the screen to the dvd player have all pulled throught the plastic, i am trying to find out where i can get a new screen
I just pulled a nearly new one out of our Expedition prior to trading it in. I have the unit only with remote. No mounting braket and I kept the headphones for our new vehicle. Will consider all reasonable offers.

I have the same problem...
I have the same problem ! I would insert longerr screws if I could find the right ones through it because the only thing holding it is 2 small pieces of metal that allow you to fold it up and down, or maybe ribbets, using glue might not work because metal does not stick to plastic .the metal bars are stiff and may finish breaking the monitors plastic when you try to fold it up or down .ordering the part may fix it temporarily it seams this product has weak plastics brackets, it could also be that when you have fold the screen down it was pusshed to hard outward to were it broke the plastic bracket attach to the metal ones that hold it!
And if that is the case than it should of been overlooked by the manufactures guide under how to operate the dvd player.I have spent hours trying to fix it! I have had my for 2 years and hardly used it.
next time i will buy a better built product!!
I have the same problem, the screen is broken and need new replacement. Let me know where can I get. I do have a extended service plan from circuit city and recently the stores are closed.
