I turned on my Kodak DX4530 and the LCD screen was completely Black but the text was still on there, and the menu screen is still working. But when I look at the LCD to get the view, it shows nothing (All Black Screen). The picture comes out all black too

The problem is with the software in the camera! So take your camera to the nearby service center and do a format of your camera! That will fix your problem. Also check whether there is any problem in ur LCD screen!
Hi, The black screen problem means the lens sensor is spoiled due to over exposure to heat. Its better to give it to Kodak service centre. If your camera is under warranty period its well and good they will replace the lens sensor for free of cost. Thank you
I've had the same problem for a while now too. The camera has been useless and Im looking to replace it. Im sure this problem hasnt got a simple fix and im better off buying a new camera! Id like to here if someone managed to get it fixed thou ?
