Sony Mavica MVC-CD350 Digital Camera LCD Screen issue

My camera was recently unexpectedly doused with water. It has been 5 days and I am sure I was successful in drying it out however the LCD screen only lights for a second before it shuts off. I still have a functioning camera, just can't see the pictures I am taking, have taken or the menu to select new options. Is there a light in the camera that possible needs a new fuse? What is the light's power source besides the battery?

Hi there, there is a special LED (Light Emitting Diode) behind the LCD screen. My advice is to contact the nearest Authorized Sony Service. If you need more info please advice. Arpi

MACRO FOCUS

Please download the manual here:-
http://www.retrevo.com/search/v2/jsp/downloadPage.jsp?doc=1c6c4980e80fcb495c014b5150b0bc22&q=Sony+MVC-CD350 To turn off the Macro function, look at page 26.
To attempt to clear the error E61:00, press the reset button on the underside of the camera with a fine tipped object. This is also described in the manual.
If you have trouble downloading the manual or you are not happy with this solution please comment soon and I will try to help more.

Mvc fd73 disc error

If this has happened with several floppy disks, then it is likely that the cameras' drive has failed. It is common in the FD73. There are several of that model on eBay right now. You can find them in Cameras and Photo, search fd73. A few are less than 50$, which is less than a replacement drive will cost to replace in your camera.

Disk error with flashing C:13:01

The error message indicates that the issue is with the CD. If it happens with all the CD, please reset the camera and contact the service center.

CAMERA NOT FUNCTIONING

This camera saves images on CD-R discs. Either there is no disc inserted, its inserted upside down, or there are focus problems with its laser.
