The jack where you plug in the headset can (and Did on mine)break off of the circuit board. is the hole move around on the player? If so it is broken off.

Cant get music files to transfer to my e-matic mp3 player

Most likely, you have not placed the music on the dmp3 player in the right folder. ry different media folders one by one until you see them show up on the mp3 media player.

This type of mp3 player uses the uses the AUDIO folder to play it's sound media target. So try that and see if it works.

hope that helps....

NO SOUND

Try a different headset - if the 2nd headset doesn't work, then that player will need to be replaced b/c it's broke

Sandisk mp3 sound problem

Well I had The Same Problem. I Thought it was the headphones and it wasnt. I ended up ripping the new headphones.
I Was really mad i Opened up the whole Player and Disconnected Everywhere and found that it was the earphone jack. the soldier it had was very cheap so it had no contact whatsoever. I connected it by bending the metal and closed the player back up and till today it now works.
I think it is your earphone jack. sansas have very cheap earpphone jack soldier or something.
I encourage you to open up the player and check the soldier. I you want contact me and ill post a video on how i did it. Hope this works.

Sandisk mp3 sound problem

There is something wrong with your sandisk's hardware. Just bring it to where you bought it and they will do it for you. It's under warranty I presume.
