I believe that's a PTK195 chassis. Yo can verify that with the small sticker on the back panel of the unit. If so, there are a number of things to test: C11637 (1uf/16v Smd) off pin 16 of U11600 R13147 surface mount off pin 50 of micro C11611 (10uf/16v) C11604 (3.3uf/50v) C11623 (4.7uf Or 10uf) Audio output IC U11901 (RCA p/n#235446) IC is located at the front left of the board as viewed from the rear of the unit. R14139 (241320) for change or open condition Q11900 SMD near output IC, RCA p/n#215495 and lastly Q11900 the mute transistor. If ANY of this has you scratching your head take it to the shop and take these notes with you... One or more of the above is your answer and none of it is all that expensive... You could save a bit of money by taking the unit into the shop yourself too. Good Luck! Bill

My rca f36450 has no picture or sound but does have power what can i do to fix it

There is nothing you can do to this set now. The only thing you can do, is to make a hard reset to this set. Just unplug it from AC mains socket, and replug it after a while. If this do not help you, just contact any experienced service technician.

The sound went out while watching a program on the set.

It sounds like the IC that controls the sounds has gone. Once upon a time they used to start with the letters TDA and other sets of letters that would make them instantly recognizable but nowadays it could start with anything so unless you know what you are looking for call out a technician. Good luck.

P61940 Sound but no picture

If you have a VCR or a DVD player, connect the red, white and yellow cables to the TV and select video 1 input on the TV.
Let me know if you require further assistance.

Picture on TV showed as small lines at the top of the screen. Sound was fine but picture was bad. This happened while playing a video game. Unplugged TV from the outlet for about a half hour. Plugged it...

I would definitely say you have a heating up problem, im guessing either the convergance ic are heating up or HOT or horz output or a capacitor, you could try spraying freeze (radio shack carries it) when the problems starts showing up to isolate the problem.

Blue, green, and red colors all off

I would suggest having a repair person come out to your place to fix this problem. I believe the convergence IC are going or have gone bad. I would estimate a $300 - $400 dollar repair bill.

RCA P46921 alignment issues

I am having the same problem. Just came across this information on another website. Hope it helps. (Both of us).... http://myweb.accessus.net/~090/how2adj.html#5.4 5.4 GE / RCA / PROSCAN Read the _ SERVICE MODE WARNING _ before proceeding. To enter service mode, push and hold the [Menu] button on the set. While holding, push and release the [Power] button, then the [Vol +] button. You will now have some information on the screen: "P0 V0" To actually be able to change these values, you must push [Vol +] on the remote so the information reads V76. Then pushing on the Channel +/- will change the "P" value. P1 - 3 are error codes. If there is a problem with the set that can be self-diagnosed, the "V" will report the code. These codes are available in the RCA repair manual. P4 - 7 control the horizontal size, shift, vertical size and shift. You may also find a summary leaflet for the service tech clipped somewhere inside the chassis. The procedures for getting into the service mode, as well as the service items of interest will be there. If you're attempting to adjust color or geometry errors, you'll need the Video Essentials DVD, Laser Disc or some other source of test material.
