Question about RCA S1000 MP3 Player

Formating i have a problem with my MP3 player its a RCA S1000 and i delete all the songs on it and there are 132 songs left what do i do

    im having trouble with mp3 player(same one as in the picture below) i don't know how to delete songs off of it although my windows media player says there not deleted im almost positive it did please call me @ 1 805 528 5678 or 1805 534 2787. im so confused. please help me as soon as posible also its been mofuncationing my sisters had been mofuncationing she got a new one do you have a choice of ones i can have. please answer me. thank you.

Connect the player to the pcformating - 1.gif,
open my computer1.gif, look for the disk icon for the player.
right click that icon, scroll down to format.

Digital mp3 player


I can delete songs by plugging it into my laptop with windows vista so I don't agree with the other comment. My laptop picked up the mp3 player and I was able to locate and delete the music from it.

Deleting demo songs


For Windows XPTM users, you are connecting the device in MTP mode to the computer by default. You will need to set the device to MSC mode, so go to the device menu\Settings\Advanced\Protocol = > Press Play/Pause key to select MSC mode which will appear as such on the screen. Reconnect the device to the computer, and you can now see those files and delete them.
DO NOT forget to set the device back to MTP mode when finished, so go to device menu\Setting\Advanced = > Select MTP mode.

connect the player to the pc1.gif,
open my computer1.gif, look for the disk icon for the player.
right click that icon, scroll down to format.

Cant delete songs


While deleting, don't take out the mp3 player.

Erase Memory


1. Plug your player in using usb cable.
2. Wait and a menu will pop up with several options scroll down to the option "manage with rhapsody" & click to select
3. Create a rhapsody account and note to the left of the screen rhapsody will detect your player
4. Click on your player screen says"RCA ...." your songs will be listed once you click on the words RCA
5. Highlight and delete
6. To avoid this in the future only use media player or rhapsody not both to sync songs to player

is there a reset on the player?? mine has one.
if not, connect to computer, and open icon for player, right click and format the player.
reload the music then

RCA S1010A Series, deleting music problems


You have to take the battery out first....then connect it to the USB port then it will find the music and then you can delte it.
