The adapter you are using is a wireless receiver. You can not connect to this adapter from another device, only connect from it to a wireless Access Point or Router.

There are ways to share the Internet connection of your computer with other devices, but you have to have your computer connected to the Access Point either via cable or have a second network card. More info here and here.

Your kindle should nevertheless be able to connect directly to your wireless network. If your computer can, your kindle should too. Is there any wireless security enabled on your network? Is Wifi turned on?

SOURCE: how to set up network on belkin G+ wireless usb adapter

do you have a Wireless Router + Broadband modem?

This is like a base station to which your remote wireless node communicates (to get connected to your home network and internet.

something like this http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=187337 for an ADSL connection.

If you are on cable, you can either get a Router similar to the one above (but for cable) http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satellite?c=L_Product_C2&childpagename=US%2FLayout&cid=1138056788757&pagename=Linksys%2FCommon%2FVisitorWrapper&lid=8875739789B01

or if your Cable modem has LAN ports you may just be able to use an "Access Point" to add Wireless capabilities. http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satellite?c=L_Product_C2&childpagename=US%2FLayout&cid=1126536803676&pagename=Linksys%2FCommon%2FVisitorWrapper&lid=0367639789B22

You can not use the Belkin Wireless G USB Adapter for the XBox 360. You must buy a USB Wifi adapter that supports the Xbox 360. (See Microsoft's USB WiFi Network Adapter)

Hi, Belkin adapter need to be configuration also with the same at your router or ISP provider so your connection will be an range.

The first think you need to know if what is your Wireless security mode WPA/WEP64bit or 128 and what is the channel of your signal.

Depend of the windows operating system one big solution is a setup windows cero configuration manually without use any software . is you cant resolved it contact me for a remote your pc for a manual configuration.

My new belkin @TV can not be found by my kindle fire. Can you hook up an external WiFi device to it to get better range?

Chip - had a similar problem myself. What I did was setup a wireless repeater in my home. There are a variety of products out there that will fit your needs - a simple 'wireless repeater' search on Amazon or Google will provide you with various equipment to use (costs ranging from $50 to $200 - get the best you can afford that will over you the range extension you are looking for). Once the repeater is setup and connected to your primary router (via wireless), your Kindle should see the device.

One other point of note. I have used the Belkin @TV for a while now and tried it on a variety of different devices including the Kindle. I find that the Kindle performance wise isn't as good as an iPad or Laptop - just a heads up on that.

I have Belkin's Play Wireless USB Adapter f7d4101 v1. The installation process (on a desktop computer - windows 7) works correctly, at the end I am asked to reboot my computer. But when my computer...

Try to check if the adapter has been disabled in the network sttings.Go to network and sharing center, on the left side of window select change adapter settings, now on the new screen if the network adapter that you are trying to use has a red x on the icon, click on it and above it some options should appear, select enable this device. Also you need to check in your device manager to be sure that your power settings are correct for all USB ports. In device manager (find it in the control panel) find the universal serial bus controller option and click on the arrow to expand selection. Go to each line that says USB root hub and right click , select properties, select the power management tab at the top and make sure that the box is unchecked that says allow the computer to turn off this device to save power. You will need to do this for every line that is titled USB host controller. I hope this was helpful.

Hi,

You have mentioned that you have a modem connected to one computer already, if you want to access another computer from a different computer through a wireless adapter then you need a wireless router or access point to transmit the wireless signal, because the Belkin N150 Wireless USB adapter which you have bought is just a "receiver".

If you have router already connected to your modem then please give the brand name of the router you have
