You may hard to do a factory reset and then reset all your info. You can reset your router by finding a small hole on the back side of the router, then using the tip of a paperclip, push into the hole while the power is on and hold or 10 seconds and this will reset to factory out of the box settings.

you can't change the default name...that is always left blank, but you can change the password.
Access the user interface & click on Administration. It should automatically be in the Management section at this point.
Enter your desired password in the Router Password field.
Re-enter to confirm the password in the next field.
Click on Save Settings.

Hello, The easiest way to correct it to reset router back to default. Reset hole/button on back need to be held in 10-15 seconds. 5 seconds or less and it will reboot router. Once it is reset to default use 192.168.1.1 for address and "admin" for password. Leave usename blank. After in settings these can be changed. Hope this helps.

Try admin, admin. If no success, go to D-link and download manual, press reset button on the router for 30 sec. And reset the settings, remember to change and record: system id, access password, wireless security, wireless password.
