Power button will not turn on

The power button will not turn on. I have no picture but the sound is working. I can still hear the tv program. I have tried to unplug for 8 hours and plug back in - still no power. Have also rubbed my fingers across the front panel to see if any buttons were stuck - still nothing.

Since you have sound the power supply is probably working and the problem is in the high voltage section. With no high voltage you will not have a picture. If you have the experience check for bad components in the High Voltage section. If you are not experienced you will need to contact a reputable shop. It should not cost a lot to repair. Good luck.

Was working fine last night ,went to turn it on and you can hear a buzzing by where you plug in your jacks a bee,or high pitch sound.tv has no picture or sound.only sound you hear is this buzzing

Sounds like your power supply is causing the problem. Unplug the TV wait 10 minutes, look in the back for a red button (circuit breaker) push it in. If this does not work you have a low voltage power supply fault.

TV goes blank - no sound or picture

Sounds like a bad capacitor or two in the power section. Do you hear a hissing sound also?

TV won't "talk" with satellite cable

Try to see if you have 5volts for your EEPROM. If the voltage is normal try to replace your EEPROM or try to reprogram it. Your EEPROM is corrupted so that's why it will not store data.

Power button Flashes

For the first one, please list the model number and count the blinks. Also, can you please post each problem separately. It will get too confusing trying to address 3 sets with different but similar problems.
Thanks,

Your tv is going into protection mode, it has detected a short in one of tv's circuits. thus, not allowing your tv come on. Can give you more detail if you want to repair it yourself, or call a factory authorized repair shop to assist you.
