Question about Philips bSure XG2 Brilliance Multimedia Projector
That light is there to tell you that the lamp is close to the end of its useful life. It simple monitors the amount of current that the lamp is drawing, so if the lamp stops drawing a preset amount of current, the lamp light will come on, indicating to you to order a new lamp so you have one when this lamp finaly burns out.
