How do i turn off predicted text on my Motorola BC60

go to messaging icon / write message / press option button ( which is above green button) / go to input method options / set T9 (aka predictive texting) / then press off.

i have a motorola v9 how do i turn off the predictive text

try pressing either * or # it might toggle it off,otherwise when in messages go into your settings and turn off your dictionary,idealy learn to use predictive text...lol

go into a text message and push the button right above the green send button and choose alpha....problem solved

Go into message settings/dictionary and turn of predictive text

go to create a message, then press the - key, go into entry setup then change primary to TAP. this then enables the function you require.

when you go to write a new text message go to options & you should see an option of dictionary go into that & turn it off. That turns predictive text off.

go to your messages... then choose message setting... look for default text input and just choose iTap (i think???) just play around with your message setting...

Go to Messages -->Create-->SMS/EMS-->the message multiline appears . Now press the round button in the centre of directional keys, this will take you to message editor. Now go to Entry set up . In the Primary setup select TAP english and in the secondary set up select TAP English.
