BLUE VERTICAL LINE

A 1" blue vertical line from top to bottom appeared about 5" from the right side of my plasma screen tv. It's on the screen most of the time and only disappears for a few minutes then it comes on again. How do I fix this? Help please!

I have many 20 LG plasmas of this model. I have had this problem appear on 5 of those 20 plasmas. I sent one to a shop and was told that it had a bad panel. I find it hard to believe this is a panel issue when it is happening on a 25% of my TV's. (sports Lounge)

I have heard several people with the same problem recently. O f course, just a few months after the original 2 yr warranty expired from pruchase in spring 2005. In, fact, literally dozens in the same San Elijo Hills, Old Creek Ranch , Dove Vally Development/neighborhood. The builder bought and installed through Centex Homes, now dozens with the "blue vertical line"

My LG plasma has also developed this vertical blue line, about 1-2" thick and about 5" from the right side of the screen. It suddenly appeared and went away for a little bit then reappeared and has not gone away since. Rebooting it several times, disconnecting and reconnecting cables, and changing inputs/channels does not help.

When i turned the tv on the above problems used to disappear after the tv was on for a while and the tv went to normal condition, but aterward it stayed the same and did not clear up as mentioned above.

The address module that is at the bottom of the PDP in that location is the suspect and the cheapest repair. There is usually 3 to 4 modules at the bottom of the PDP and each one addresses information vertically. If it were just one pixe wide then the PDP would be bad.

VIZIO P42hd PS42a plasma Picture has two vertical lines (one red/orange, one blue) going down the right-hand side of the screen. Lines are clearly visible

The panel is almost certainly bad. The only fix for this is to replace the whole panel which would cost more than the whole TV.
