Panasonic TV My tv is showing a kind of red double vision on everything letters and objects, Kind of has a blur look to it. If you litely tap the side of the tv it will fix its self, but not anymore. Is something loose and can I fix it?

If that was the case, then you first had a loose connection my friend on one of the convergence IC's. But the longer you "tap" the set to correct your problem the more of a chance that now the convergence ICs are bad and will need replacing. these IC's are not plugged into the board, they are soldered. If you have some TV repair knowledge, and have experience soldering and unsoldering on small solid state printed circuit boards, then yes you should have no problem reading a schematic diagram, locating the two convergence IC's and replacing them. There could also maybe a feedback resistor or two that might have went out as a result of the IC's blowing out. Good Luck

This is a problem with your convergence settings found under your tv's menu. its very easily fixed, you just need to open the setting for convergence and use the arrows on your remote to adjust. inproper convergence can cause either a red or blue haze around almost any object displayed on the tv screen

Double Vision

My Dad had a Hitachi rear projection with same problem blue and red were fine green was out of allignment and could not fix. Problem was the acual projector inside TV the cost for repair was more than TV was worth went out bought plasma.

Seeing alot or green lines, test somewhat double vision

there is a screen the light shows through to project to the screen when this starts to fail the screen will have lines. it sits at the end of the light chamber. these are expensive to replace on some models.
