I understand that you are seeing a brown liquid come from under your dispenser area. I would recommend you having a professional come out to your appliance to check and assure the water lines are connected properly and not developing any moisture problems to form from under your dispenser. I hope this is helpful. -Matt
There are two reasons for this, 1st water is staying in the tank too long and should be drained more often and 2nd is what no one wants to here, the unit may be passing oil by the rings. We know everything starts to wear out. My suggestion to fix this problem is to install an oil water separator and capture the liquid that comes from the bottom of the tank. The oil will separate from the water and allow water to go to the ground while capturing the oil.
Feel the liquid. If it's brown, milky, sound like you've blown a head gasket. I'd get it to a mechanic and have it looked at, but tow it, do not drive it, or you will make it worse.
Please let me know if you need further assistance.

i doubt that it is toxic,
and I doubt that it is coolant,
they would escape as a gas, and never liqify in the unit
if it was the oil of the comprssor as well, you would know it right away, it would be very acidic smell
unknown to all the circumstances, it might just be the first signs of s defrost issue.
About the only liquid that passes through the passenger compartment is coolant through the heater core so that item may have developed a leak.
If it is brown, the coolant may be way overdue for a flush and a change.
You might sniff the liquid to see if you find any trace of coolant odor.
