April 09, just cleaned my oven and have the same problem. Locked light flashes, oven locks and unlocks, locks and unlocks all night. Turned off power, reset, now cleaning my oven a second time hoping to trigger something off.

Wondering if you ever solved this problem? I have the same issue with the Profile - just cleaned the bottom oven of a 8 yr. old model, and flashing "door locked" though door is not locked.

Look for a microswitch connected to the lock mechanism at the back of the stove. The switch is probably broken.

I have a GE Profile self cleaning oven. JSP46 model. When I broil for around 15-20 mins, the panel flashes door locked and the oven shuts off. I always broil with the door open.

Hello,
You should replace the door lock mechanism and the door switch.

Try unplugging power cord or trip circuit breaker, to cut the power to the appliance, then wait one or towo hours for the oven to cool down completely.

If the door stays locked, then there is a fault, probably a faulty temp probe that had blown because of high temperatures generated on self cleaning, or a defective control assembly. In that case you will need to call a technician to take apart the oven and fix the fault.

Enter model number here to find assembly diagrams and parts.

JTP56 Self Cleaning issue

It sounds like you need to replace the door latch assembly. One of the switches on it is not working properly so the control is not getting the correct signal for the door latch position. It could be an oven control problem, but most likely it is the latch.
Post back with the complete model number from the oven if you need more help and I will answer as soon as I can.
Thanks, Mike

The switch inside the door lock mechanism is stuck down making the unit think it is still locked.  the switched is located next to the hook that locks your door.

Our GE Profile JTP18 keeps flashing "door lock" since we ran a self clean

most of the time a simple fix.... http://www.geappliances.com/search/fast/infobase/10004586.htm
you have to trick the door lock mech into cycling through the cleaning process (takes about 20 seconds)
Print Range - “LOCKED DOOR” flashes in the display

If “LOCKED DOOR” is flashing in the display of your range or oven, and the self-clean cycle has not been selected, follow the steps below to reset your control:

Motorized Switch
    1. With the door open, locate the door jamb switch on the face of the oven. It will look like a small black post or dowel.
    2. Push it in until the oven cavity light goes off, indicating that the oven believes the door is closed.
    3. While you hold the door jamb switch in this position, complete the following steps.
    4. Press the Clean pad, wait 10 seconds.
    5. When the cycle initiates, press the clear/off or cancel pad immediately to cancel it.
    6. Wait 10 seconds for the display to clear.
    7. The door should unlock and there should not be a need for service.
Manual Switch
    1. Press the Clean pad.
    2. Close the door.
    3. Slide the latch to lock the door.
    4. Hit the cancel button immediately.
    5. Unlock the door.
If the above does not correct the situation, a service technician will need to check your cooking product. To obtain in or out of warranty repair on Major Appliances, you may call 1-800-GE-CARES (800-432-2737) or schedule service online.
