How to set time

In standby state, enter [Menu] ? [Settings] menu.
:6.1 Phone Settings
6.1.1 Date & time
1. Set time: Set the time of your phone.
2. Set date: Set the date of your phone.
3. Time format: Select from 12 hours or 24 hours format.
4. Date format: Select from [Year-Mon-Day] or [Mon-Day-Year] or [Day-Mon-Year]
5. Update time settings: Set your time to [Auto update time] or [Manual update time]

model of phone would help, but some older phones you need to receive a call before it will update, some may have a setting in the control system setting for manualy setting time and selecting for day light saving..
most newer phone have a setting to set it auto or manually you will find this in the date & time location, also make sure you have selected the location for your time zone as well...sounds silly but see that to many time the phone is in the wrong zone and if not set to auto it will not update if you travel to current time zone and correct time

If your phone is android support

1. Go to Settings
2. Select Date & Time
3. Select Set Date ( This is where you can set the date) and set
4. Select Set Time ( This is where you can set the time) and set

If your phone is Java support

1. Go to Settings
2. Phone Settings
3. Time and Date
4. Set Time and Date (Don't forget to save)

Like many phones, it sets the time upon receiving a call, and there is no other way to set the time. Until you receive the first call, the time will show incorrectly. (Also, the phone will not show the change to or from daylight saving time until it receives a call after the change.)

Normally in all phones as it is switched ON the time needs to be set before the main menu comes up. So as soon as the time window comes up you can set the time, time zone and proceed.
Also you can access time setting from the MENU>settings> clock/time/date set. Open the window and proceed.

Select 'Menu' then select 'Settings' then select 'Date and time'.

Select 'Date and time settings' to set the date and time.


You can also scroll down in Date and time Settings and select 'Auto-update of time' which means your phone will automatically keep time using your phone network service.

go into the menu,go to initial phone set up.the time and date settings will be there,most phone will pick up the time and date from your service provider .

Select Menu > Settings > Date and time. Select Date and time settings to set the date and time. Select Date and time format settings to set the formats for date and time. Select Auto-update of date & time (network service) to set the phone to update the time and date automatically according to the current time zone. Hope it helped...

just in your phone go to setting and in profile there will be a time option in that you set your time ...........this is common for all sony ericsson phones ............to guide properly specify your phone make and model ........

• Auto update: activate the auto time update
feature. Your phone will read the MCC (Mobile
Country Code) from the network and automatically
update the current time for the country that you
are in when you travel abroad.
