After sitting in power save mode for a long period of time the printer might not function properly. This happens when the printer is plugged into a surge protector. Unplug from the surge protector and plug directly into the wall power socket.


Step 1:

Please try to print Self test Print from the Printer (without PC ie. remove the USB cable from the PC)

Step 2:
If the Self test Print is Ok, try to connect your printer to PC
and Print Test Page
Go to Start >> Printers and Faxes >> Select your Printer F380
then Right click Properties and Click on "Print Test Page"
If this prints Ok then all the connections you have made are correct
In case, it does not print then please check your USB cable try to change it

Step 3:
You can uninstall your Driver
and install the new driver, to download the driver for F380 All in One Printer Please click the below link
Choose appropriate Operating System

Try these instructions if you have windows 7

Dear it seems a simple printer driver problem. I suggest you that if you have printer driver cd-rom than uninstall printer driver from add & remove program in control panel and than restart the system and unplug the printer from the usb port. Than insert the printer cd-rom and follow the instruction. And when it ask to connect printer to usb port at that time connect the printer to usb port and power it on. and let it get installed properly as per the instruction ok. This might get resolve your problem. if not kindly revert it to me.

# Select Print from the File menu.

If you see the message The Epson Printer Driver dealing with CD printing is not installed, click OK.

# Click Tray, select Tray 2, then click OK.

Note: If Tray 2 is not selected, the CD design will print in the wrong position.

# Click Manual Print.

# Make sure Epson Stylus Photo R(your model) is selected.

# Under Paper, select the following settings:

* Source: Manual

* Size: A4

# Click Properties.

# Select CD/DVD or CD/DVD Premium Surface for the Media Type setting.

# Click OK, then click OK again to print.

Hello guys.

About the problems printing CD/DVD with your Epson R265 ....................

There is nothing to do. The prg coming with the printer (PrintCD) is wrong at all and we cannot understand why the Epson Corp. has simply deleted the prg by its download site.

After tryng for a lot of solutions ........ INCREDIBLE but TRUE ..... the program Print CD coming with the previous Epson R200 is ok at 100% !

So, in conclusion, all prgs inserted onto the Epson R265 CD are OK eccept the Print CD. Don't install it from the R265 disk ! It will crash !

If already installed, delete it and install the prg Epson R200 print CD.
It will work fine and without troubles.

Repeat ... it's incredible, but true.

The prg can be downloaded searching for Epson R200 software.
If you will have troubles, let me know.
