I have an answering machine with this product and then a voicemail from my provider. The message light blinks and the phone beeps right before the dial tone if I have a message. I have cleared messages in both places and was able to fix the 'message light continuing to blink' problem, but I still have the 'message' beeps right before the dial tone indicating I have a message when I do not.

You might try going to unidendirect.com, scroll down to "customer service" and click there. a FAQ list comes up. #8 is remote access messages, maybe your other issue would be answered as well.

I found that if I hold the "find hs" button on the BASE unit (right above the red charging light) for a few seconds, it works!! Thank goodness there is a solution! Thanks for the help.

What worked for me was to call my phone and leave a voicemail. I then retrieved and deleted my voicemail which reset my handsets.

I'm having the same problem, too. However, the beeping continues and continues. Even when it stops, the light comes back on. Any other thoughts?

hold you finger for 5 seconds on the page (or find hs) button, that usually clears the blinking beep/light!!!
also make sure no old messages are in the VM inbox!
