After it spins out, it comes loose, I line it back up and snap it on, but it will not stay on.
More than likely the plastic tabs that hold the agitator on are worn or bent to the point where they won't hold securely anymore. It's probably a good idea to go ahead and replace the agitator before it comes off during the wash cycle and damages the washtub.
