Replace convergence IC (location 8c01) which is a STK-393-110. You will need to order an after market market convergence IC (STK 393-110) I have had good luck with this IC. Next, check and replace all the 3.9 ohm 2 watt resistors, that are bad. You can check them with an ohm meter or visually inspect for burns or peels. Resolder the Convergence board, as by now there are many bad grounds (broken solder connections). Be sure to resolder the jumper jacks that connect the board to the next board too.(Under this board are solder traces that adhere to the jumper connections that will snap to the next board.) These would include jumper jacks PM, VU, and PF. Good luck and thanks for asking, show all hands of support!
