I bought this camera second hand and took a few pictures with it.
When i tried to download them by inserting the usb cable it went dead, i thought i had maybe drained the battery so bought very expensive ones still nothing all that happens when i press the button to try and get it on is the red light flicks on and off very quickly, nothing comes up on the screen and it seems dead?
I would be very grateful for any ideas/
Thankyou
Dee

ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS AND VIDEOS TO A COMPUTER If your photos and videos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos and to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.

i had this problem before.Mine was that, for some strange reasons, the USB cable from the camera wasnt getting good contact with the USB port on my pc.So anytime i was transferring pictures, its stops and tells me error. All i did was to stop using the cable and i bought a media card read/writer since my pc did not have a media card reader by then. Now all i do is insert the media card from the camera into the reader and transfer my photos
for all concord eye q duo 2000 problems. for win xp go to the concord website manuals and drivers are their. for win vista plug in camera goto start > right click computer > proterties > device manger under imaging devices you should see the camera. right click on the camera and click on update driver, went asked use the internet for update after update you will have a new camera name (coach digital camera, and coach video camera). you will still have to use the solfware that came with the camera. arcsolf photo impression 2000 and arcsolf video impression 1.6 save your pictures to a folder and reopen them with other solfware programs for editing.
Well they are correct for so many small electronics these days- not always a bad product- simply the way these things are made on huge machines - there is no human intervention- ie. soldering minuscule parts on tiny circuit boards-possible.
Buyit -breakit- binit seems to be the order of the days- Kettles/Toasters/Irons /All the same All made in China all not worth tuppence
