Asante Networks, Inc. 2223 Oakland Road, San Jose, CA 95131 USA Phone 408.435.8388 · Website www.asante.com Asante Networks, Inc. 2223 Oakland Road, San Jose, CA 95131 USA · Phone 408.435.8388 · Website www.asante.com i assume you have tried to get into the router settings, if not, this is how, Make sure you typed in the address correctly. (Default: 192.168.123.254) Add http:// in front of the address. Try http://192.168.123.254:88. Make sure the link light on the front panel is on for the port you are plugged into. (If it is not, you have a bad cable, wrong type of cable, have not seated the cable well, or have a problem with your computer's ethernet adapter card.) Make sure the router is plugged in and on. Make sure your computer is set to DHCP (Mac) or Obtain IP address automatically (PC) in the Network control panel. If you can configure the router and the router can receive a proper response and IP assignment from your ISP, then you are connected to the Internet. If you are unable to browse or other such operations it is almost always because your DNS (Domain Name Server) setup is incorrect. Check both in the client computer IP setup as well as the router setup to make sure that your Domain Name Server is one that can be reached and pinged. if you need to reset the router because you've had no response, reset the router by unplugging it, waiting 10 seconds, then re-plugging it. Restart your computer. If you still are unable to get on the net, then either your isp is at fault, so check with them for a network status, or the router may be faulty.
