Or try IN SAFE MODE with ADMINISTRATOR accaunt i think it should work if ur sister didnt put SUPER ADMINISTRATOR ACCAUNT!!! If this solved your problem please rate this solution as "Solved" or ask here again in order to find another possible cause
Hi, Try opening the laptop and locate the cmos battery (it will look like a car alarm battery). Take it out for about 15 minutes. Take out the laptop battery as well. Plug it in back and turn back on, this should clear the password. If this does not work, try starting the laptop before putting back in the cmos battery and the laptop battery. Then shut down and put in back the cmos battery and the laptop battery. Start it up again and the password should be reset. I think you will have to press F1 at some point to save or load default settings. If this still doesn't work let me know so I can give another suggestion. Thanks, Lolita
Well this is a tedious task. You have to turn over the laptop and unscrew all the screws from the laptop. You have to also unscrew the different compartments like for the hard drive and the memory and the processor compartments because underneath those have more screws to take out. You have to take out the hard drive as well and the dvd drive and exactly underneath where the hard drive lies (on the main board) you will see a small battery in a plastic socket.
It is a lot of work to unscrew, so you have to be careful about this and you have to keep everything organized.

you should be able to press F8 on start up, so as you are able to start in safe mode, the option will come up and highlight the line 'Start windows in safe mode' and press enter. When windows starts the icons will be larger than normal, so don't worry, but their will show your own account and an administrartor account, click on the administrator account and go to accounts and select the account that is passworded. You should then either be able to delete the password, change, or delete the account, when done, restart pc and it should be ok and back to normal

i have acer laptop.once upon a day my laptop was effected by virus. that time my friend create new user and delete that user.that time he could done one mistake that is he assign only limited specification like as user. not administrator now this time i can not install any languages.tht time system ask admin password and user name? but i do nt know that he will give same name & password the previous one. how can i solve this one?

its not the password for the accounts... its when you start the computer it askes for a password.. the internal password to let you into the computrer
i cant even get in that far.. its automatically goes to Password... when you start the computer thats where it goes.. cant even go to f8..

everytime i turn on my acer laptop it says type in your password and i forget it so it wont let me get on the computer without entering a password?
