I have tried taking out the cartridge, and re-installing it. Still continue to get the message. Ive unplugged the computer, printer, everything cant get rid of this message and cant print anything.

Clean the contacts on the cartidge and printer ( open the replace ink door wait for the printhead to come to center and turn off power) if that does not work then replace cartridge, it might be a recycled one that they did not chane the chip.

Hi there you could remove the print cartridge and clean the contacts on the cartridge and on the carriage with a soft cloth as they may have dried ink on them. Is the ink cartridge an original if not replace also replace if you have refilled the cartridge. Most problems are down to fault cartridges so suggest you replace the ink cartridge anyway and return hopefully the faulty one back to the store.

P.S I take it you have removed the blue tape that comes on the cartridge!!!

I know your problem. I just put in new cartridges and it will print the test page, but nothing else. Did you get an answer

chech to see if the cartridge slot locks down the tab that locks the cartridge have been known to break. or run a maintenance check and clean the printer heads.
