Question about Sony VAIO TR3A Notebook
Please help I have cracked the screen on my machine and I cannot get connection to a seperate screen. on rebooting I can see the Windows XP logo but after that nothing. How can I toggle the screen to different screen only using the keyboard? Please help. Cat
Like Jackboy says its usually different on all laptops but this model its the FN key and F4 key when you start it up....I cracked my screen but of no fault of mine it just went like that and them fools who fixes them up said it was my fault and said it would cost me $1300 to renew I told them where to go an it was under warranty too. So I went the cheap way and bought a LCD screen 17" with TV capabilities Im over the moon......who cares if it defeats the purpose of having a laptop....... buy another to take travelling use this one for home?

Carefully examine the keyboard. These do vary from model to model but one key will have a screen symbol in another colour[blue perhaps] this will mean pressing another key to get the blue function The key to press may also have a blue element. Also get onto the Sony Technical Support team
