Touch screen frozen

I recently got a second hand ipaq1910 which was working great for a while, then it started to have problems with the touch screen not working correctly (It wouldnt go into settings mode etc). Now the screen has gone grey and has frozen completely. Anybody know what I am doing wrong?

Yes, the touch screen is frozen - but only when I'm using the calendar. The calendar shows the right day but I cannot access it to do anything with it. Everything else seems to be working ok. It's been like this for about 3 weeks. It happened once before and then started working again after a few weeks. I don't know what I did, if anything, to fix it at that time. That's probably why I stopped using it for a while. Now it's frozen again and if this is something that is going to happen often, unless there is a way to fix it immediately, I'll probably stop using it for good.

How do enable my touchscreen?

This is one link that shows how in pdf (however if you provide your exact model and operating system, you can get a clearer answer) https://www.lenovo.com/shop/americas/content/user_guides/a720_ug_en.pdf
touch screen starts on page 12
2.1 Touch Screen Calibration Prior to first use or whenever the touch screen reacts in a different place where you are touching it, start the calibration program. The procedure is as follows: 1. In Windows 7, Select "Start" - "Control Panel". 2. In Control Panel, select "Hardware and Sound". 3. In "Hardware and Sound" window, select "Tablet PC Settings". 4. In "Tablet PC Settings" dialogue, click "Calibrate" button. 2.2 User Gesture Instructions for the Touch screen The Touch screen supports single touch and rotational movements, enlargement and reduction multi-touch operations, and the user can transmit position information to the computer via touch. The touch screen uses a very low pressure movement recognition method, which only needs the finger to move lightly on the computer display screen or make a simple hand gesture to be detected by the main computer processor.

Ipod touch screen is unresponsive but it makes sounds like normal

Fix an Unresponsive Ipod Screen
Many of today's electronic devices including cell phones, music players and portable game systems have a touch screen.
When a touch screen fails, it does not respond when you tap it with your finger or a stylus.
This can happen due to several reasons, such as a screen protector, dust or improper calibration.
You can often fix an unresponsive touch screen by cleaning it or resetting the device.
Remove the plastic touch screen protector sheet.
Some protector sheets are too thick and prevent the touch screen from responding to your touch. If you must use a protector screen, only use one that is licensed for your specific device.
Wipe the screen with a soft microfiber cloth.
Clean off any dirt, dust or fingerprints on the screen.

Dry your hands thoroughly.
The touch screen will not respond if your hands are wet.
Reset the device.
If your device does not have a "Reset" button, remove the battery, memory card or SIM card, then reinstall them.

Delete any third-party applications you recently installed.
Some third-party applications can cause your device to lock up or freeze.

Recalibrate the touch screen.
Look in the device's Settings menu for a calibration option and follow the prompts.

iPod touch: Hardware troubleshooting
If this fails to fix the problem
Press the "On/Off-Sleep/Wake" button and hold it for a few seconds, until a red slider appears. Press the "Home" button until the frozen app quits.
If this doesn't work, you can try restarting the iPod touch.
Press the "On/Off-Sleep/Wake" button if you need to restart the iPod touch, and hold it until the red slider appears on the screen.
Slide your finger over the slider to turn off the device.
Press the "On/Off-Sleep/Wake" button and hold it until the iPod touch turns back on.
If you can't turn off the iPod touch, you can try resetting it.
Press the "On/Off-Sleep/Wake" button while simultaneously pressing the "Home" button when you want to reset the iPod touch, and continue to hold the buttons for at least 10 seconds, until the screen goes black and the Apple logo appears.

Touch screen is frozen

If the touch screen is frozen, I recommend taking out your battery for 30 seconds and then putting it back in. If that does not work, you should contact your local AT&T store and try to have them give you a new phone.

Ipod touch 8 gb. The screen is frozen

You must attempt to refresh your iPod Touch.

Hold the Sleep Button and the Home Button at the same time for 10 seconds. The screen turns off, wait for 5 seconds. Then hold the power button again until you see the Apple Logo. Wait for couple of seconds. Then your problem should resolved!

If this does not work, let me know. :).

    Hanged

I read another entry and you have to hold down the red and green button and click your stylus into the bottom little button beside where you plug your phone in to charge.
It didn't fix my problem though which is similar to yours.
