AUX???? I am trying to connect my PC to my sony CMT-EP515 stereo, only problem is that i can't find the AUX button to enable me to do this. Any ideas?

If you meant that you wanted to play the Ipad on the audio system , you can use a EARPHONE TO RCA _ STEREO shielded cord to connect the ipad to the system. Connect RCA jacks to the AUX inout or any available input which can be switched to listen.

Sony CMT-EP515 CD Shelf System. CDs wont play. Place CD in tray and close, disc doesnt spin but 4 distinct clicks heard then nothing

It could be 3 things.
1. the Laser carrier may be stuck and may need to be gently pried from centre to outskirt and back.
2. your cd spinning motor has gone and needs to be replaced,
3. your laser carrier motor has gone and needs to be replaced,

Change input to Aux In without remote CMT-NEZ3 Sony

I have not found a way to select Audio In without the remote (and I've tried every combination of buttons I can think of!)

The approved way to select Audio In is to press the FUNCTION button on the RM-SC30 remote that should have been included with your Sony CMT-NEZ3. See http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/model-home.pl?mdl=CMTNEZ3 to download your manual.

Please help me enable the aux mode on the above unit, i have connected ipod to aux input, no sound as not enabled, many thanks, Pioneer AVH-P5700 DVD car stereo

Have you tried going into the menu and searching for this function?Also some car stereo's have a sub menu when the radio is turned off or in stanby mode it usually can be reached by pushing your menu button and holding for a few seconds also again the power has to be in standby mode. if this works look through menu for your problem.

Please help - I purchased my Mother an iPod (4g NANO) for Christmas and need to know how she can hook up the iPod to her stereo system to use it as I do at home. With mine all I needed was a AUX Cable...

All you need is a 1/8th stereo adapter that runs two rca jacks out red/white! You can get this at any radio shack store...Plug jack 1/8th into mp3 player and the red/white jacke can plug into her aux input Or any other input!

TV Sound through stereo speakers while watching tv.

All the above connected method is correct. Need to change the option in the stereo system as md or auillary depends upon the model. Go through user manual for stereo system.

Usb error

Apparently the problem might not be with the stereo but with the device you're connecting to the stereo. Remember there are two types of usb versions,1.0 and 2.0. Which one will the stereo accept. Now my stereo only accepts the 1.1 version. I have'nt tried the usb feature on my stereo yet, but it only speaks of the 1.1 version, not the 2.0 version in the manual.
