Can't setup a page to print

Hi,

Your problems states that photos are being blank when trying to print it.
Please try these tips.

• Make sure your printer is selected in the Print window or in the Macintosh Page Setup and Print windows.
• The print head nozzles may need cleaning.
• Make sure your printer software settings are set for the paper size you're using.

Plus,i also wanted to know if you can print ordinary documents or print a test page.

Make sure on the Page Setup tab that the Page Layout says 'Normal-size' and not 'Poster' (poster tries to place four documents on a single printed sheet). If this is not the problem, try uninstalling and reinstalling the printer driver.

While this may be a mechanical fault, and if so a service call is going to be required to fix it, it can frequently be caused by software settings for the printer drivers or for the software being used at the time the photo is being printed.

When you select print from the software the usual response is for the printer driver's dialog box to appear. Within that box is a radio button which is usually marked "Page Setup". Selecting that button will access settings for various paper types [which can effect the problem you are having if the wrong one is high-lighted] as well as various other feature settings which can effect the printers output.

The support website for your specific printer should have information on what settings to change to realize desired results.

In software, like Photoshop for instance, settings for image size can effect the printed end result if the settings are a mismatch between photo size selected and the photo paper being used [unless there is a "fit to paper" option checked in the aforementioned printer driver page setup dialog box]. Like having those settings set to print an eight by ten print on four by six paper, for example. These settings should be checked to make sure your selected photo print size matches the paper you are printing on.

First thing that comes to mind is that a 4x6" print could print four wallet sized photos; be shure your are not printing more than one copy.

If you are trying to print more than one,it will print the actual picure you have and leave space for the number of other nonexistent prints selected.

See page 75 of the Manual. for directions on how to set up photo printing.

If you have photoshop, you can resize your documents using the menu item, Image / Image size, (Alt + i then i again)

Set the resolution to 300, then the document size width to 6 or 10 inches.

This will guarantee that your document is full size, (though the printer should be able to resize it to fit on the page no matter what).

Give these a try. It's really a shot in the dark, but it's my best guess.

go to the page setup and change the size of the page to 0.75.then go to veiw and change the text size to medium or large, if it still has problem check if you have the correct driver.

Click on File.
Then Click on Print.
A box should come up on the first line Name Epsen Properties
Click on Properties.
Then next Box Read Main Page Setup Effect Etc.
Click on Page Setup Then the setting change. Page Size Letter with a drop down arrow V
Click on the drop down arrow . On the 6th one is 4*6
Click on it.
Then click OK so it keep the setting.

First customize the paper size in the Page Setup. Secondly when you send command for print, change the paper size to custom size from the Printer Properties and click print. On the other hand, you can select the paper size from the printer's menu itself after sending the print command. Please make sure that the right driver of the printer is installed on your computer.

did u check the setting in print page setup..
if not then try with that..
by the way, the page that u r going to print, does it seems of normal size..
select the A4 page in page setup and select proper margin and check the font size as mensioned above..

check your font size put 12 to 16 font size.
go to page setup and check priveiw

Of course you can use 4x6 photo paper
you have select the paper size from page setup as 4x6

and put the paper in the tray after adjusting the tray size
