I have had my tv for about 8 years give or take and love it. Recently though i've been getting whitelines on my tv. My dad has a diferent tv and it did it to his too so we thought it was the cable. His went away and mine are still there. I am trying not to buy a new one but I might have to. Please help

As it is 7 years old, replace all the electrolytic capacitors at its main power regulator board. All of them might have value deteriated. If so, power supply wont get proper regulation. If you wish to get more details, check this link.
Hello, any time you get a white line, it means there's a defect in signal transmission. This means, the connection between the screen and the motherboard is faulty. It must be changed. Alternatively there could be a white obstacle on the lense!
there are no bulbs in plasma tv's. the problem is most likely a bad video board (what converts the digital input to usable picture for the screen) it will need to be replaced, probably better to get a new tv.
This TV is NOT High Definition but the picture is as close to HD as you can get. It also has 1 S-Video and 1 Composite port which gives a GREAT picture! I have owned this TV for about 8 years and still love it!
